One of the great tragedies of the dire economic situation in Zimbabwe is the number of destitute pensioners. Those who diligently saved their entire working lives so they could have peace of mind in their later years, have seen their savings and pensions decimated by the disastrous mismanagement of the economy by Government.

We have so far pre-paid the winter heating bills (Zesa) of as many of the elderly as we can, enabling them to have the little extra comfort of knowing they will have hot water and heating in the cold winter nights, for at least the coldest 4 months.
